EdiWay — One Platform. One Learner Record. One Future.

Lucid Pulse partnered with EdiWay to design and develop a modern education technology platform built around a simple but powerful idea: schools, families, and professionals should not have to rely on fragmented systems to understand a learner’s journey. EdiWay was created to bring education, SEND, safeguarding, wellbeing, assessment, communication, and learner evidence into one connected digital environment. Rather than building another isolated school tool, the platform was designed as a unified learner record that follows the child across stages, settings, and support needs.

The Challenge

Schools are under increasing pressure to manage complex learner needs while working across multiple disconnected systems. Information about a child can often be spread across safeguarding platforms, SEND records, attendance systems, assessment tools, behaviour logs, parent communication apps, spreadsheets, and paper files. This creates duplication, delays, and gaps in understanding. For families, the challenge is even greater. Key developmental records, support plans, assessments, and evidence can be difficult to access, easy to lose, or left behind when a child moves school, changes provision, or reaches adulthood. EdiWay set out to solve this by creating a platform where every important milestone, document, insight, and intervention could be securely stored, connected, and used to support better decisions.

Our Role

Lucid Pulse led the digital development of the EdiWay platform, supporting the project from concept through to live build. Our work included:

The Solution

EdiWay was developed as a secure, scalable school management and learner record platform with a strong focus on clarity, accessibility, and long-term value. The platform gives schools a central place to manage learner information, track progress, record support, monitor wellbeing, and access key data across departments. For families and learners, EdiWay supports the idea of a lifelong education record — a digital archive of progress, support, evidence, assessments, milestones, and developmental history. The result is a connected system designed around the learner, not around fragmented administration.

Design Approach

The design direction focused on creating a clean, professional, and trustworthy digital experience. Education platforms often become visually overwhelming because they try to display too much information at once. For EdiWay, the aim was to create a calm, structured interface that made complex data easier to understand. The visual system uses a modern layout, clear navigation, soft gradients, accessible iconography, and dashboard cards that allow staff to scan information quickly. The platform needed to feel powerful enough for school leaders, simple enough for busy staff, and reassuring enough for families.

Development Approach

From a development perspective, EdiWay required a flexible structure that could grow over time. The platform was built with modularity in mind, allowing features such as learner profiles, assessments, SEND tools, safeguarding, wellbeing, reporting, and communication to develop as part of a wider connected ecosystem. This approach allows EdiWay to continue expanding without losing its core purpose: one platform, one learner record, one future.

Content and Brand Support

Alongside platform development, Lucid Pulse also supported EdiWay with digital content and visual storytelling. This included the creation of article imagery, social media content, thought-leadership visuals, and website assets designed to communicate the platform’s mission clearly. The content strategy focused on key themes including:
